Diagnostic Imaging

DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING

  • Ultrasound
  • Radiography
  • Echo cardiogram

Enable to detect illness and abnormalities in dogs and cats that cannot otherwise be appreciated and to do so in a non- invasive and non-painful manner

Diagnostic imaging is a powerful non invasive and most reliant tool to see and perceive what’s inside of a body. It can be used to visualize the size of an organ, level of fluidity, thickening of wall of an organ, blood flow to the organ and even motility. In case of reproduction, pregnancy can be confirmed at the earliest along with number of puppies as well its health status.

Ultrasound

Most commonly used diagnostic tool which produces a real-time image of pet’s internal organs such as a mass hidden in thin organ or problems of the thicker intentional wall, better assessment of heart dysfunction, respiratory illness and of an abdominal organ like liver, kidney, gall bladder. A reliable tool to confirm pregnancy and monitor the liveability of pups inside the womb.

Radiography

X rays, known as radiographs, are being used to diagnose a wide range of illnesses in dogs & cats. Bone-related diagnoses are best done with x rays. DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY has become a golden standard as they expose the patients to significantly less radiation and eliminate the use of hazardous processing chemicals. We love to share the diagnosed image with our clients in the form of a compact disc!.

ECHO Cardiograph

Echo cardiographs produce precise ultrasound images of the heart and cardiovascular system. We rarely miss to diagnose and take due course of action for heart dysfunction, since our senior consultant Dr. Kanniappan is expertise in ultrasound imaging techniques.
